One of the most interesting places to visit in Yogyakarta is the water castle. It is located in the tourism area of Yogyakarta, called Taman Sari. The water castle about one kilometer from the center of the city, and it’s easy to get there by car or by motorcycle.
It is one of beautiful places in Yogyakarta. It has more the old and beautiful building. The old and beautiful building is Pula Panemburg, Pulo Cemeti, Gerbang Cakrik, Pesarean Ledhoksari, Umbul Pamuncar, Umbul Kenanga, Gedhong Agung, Gedhong Panggung, etc. Once, the water castle was use the king and the queen of Yogyakarta to enjoyed.
The water castle takes about two hours to see all the building. We can walk around the water castle. The best time to visit the water castle is in the early morning or late afternoon, when it is cooler.
