Reflection Practice on Basic Grammar March 25, 2009

1.Salak adalah salah satu jenis buah – buahan yang berasal dari Indonesia.
2.Monumen Jogja Kembali terletak 3 kilometer dari Kota Jogja kearah utara.
3.Selama liburan saya dan teman saya menghabiskan waktu di rumah nenekku yang rumahnya di dekat pantai.
4.Setelah bejalan selama 2 jam, akhirnya merasa lapar dan haus.
5.Nama kita adalah Ferdian dan Susan yang berasal dari kelas 2 jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMKN 2 Jogja.


1 . Salak is one of the fruits that come from Indonesian.
2 . Jogja again monument located 3 kilometers from the city to the north Jogjakarta.
3 . During the holidays my friend and I spend time at my grandma’s house near the beach.
4 . After running for 2 hours we finally feel hungry and thirsty.
5 . Our name is Ferdian and Susan who come from class 2 building design techniques vocational secondary school 2 Jogja.

Parangtritis Beach

Parangtritis beach is the beautiful beach. It located in Bantul. Many tourists visit to Parangtritis beach. Not only a domestic tourist, but also a foreign tourist. In there we can play wave and the sand. We can swim in the sea, but just in the side. We can make castle from sand. We can go around with” bendi” . Bendi is a carriage, pulled by a horse and bendi have two wheels. In there we can enjoy the scenery. We can look for inspiration from the beach. The painters often visit Parangtritis beach to paint, likes Affandi, etc.

The Coconut Tree

A coconut tree is a useful plant for tropical people. We can take many benefits from coconut trees. This stalk, called“glugu” used for wood and material to make house. This leaves used for house’s roof after dried. Coconuts have high economy value because all of these parts have sell value. The stem of the coconut named “mayang” often used for decoration in wedding party. Palm leaf rib used for making a broom.

Water is a source for human’s life in the world. All of creatures need water to defend their life. Water is very important for us. Water for human used for drinking, taking a bath, washing, source of energy, etc. Water for plants used for photosynthesis. Water for animals used for drinking, talking a bath, etc. We can find water everywhere. In the mountain range we can find different water. Many spring to be a tour object because of the scenery. We can take many benefits from water. Water is very important for life everyone.

Sport is good for you. It helps us becomes strong and health. It also helps us becoming more disciplined. These things are important in our life.

There are many kind of sport. If you want to be with other people, you can join a team sport such as volleyball, basketball, or football. If you want an individual competition, you can try sport such as badminton or tennis. It is not important what sport you play. All sport are good for you. All people like sport.

Sepak bola adalah olahraga permainan. Sepak bola adalah salah satu olahraga terkenal di dunia. Permainan ini dimainkan oleh dua tim. Terdapat sebelas orang dalam satu tim. Lama permainan ini adalah 90 menit. Dalam sepak bola kerjasama tim sangat di butuhkan. Permainan ini dipimpin oleh satu wasit dan dua asisten wasit.
Di Eropa sepak bola dapat menjadi bisnis. Disan gaji pemain bias mencapi milyar. Disana juga banyak pemain yang baik. Dari cara mengiring, menembak, dan mengumpan.

Football is the sport game. Football is one of the sports in world. This is played by two teams. There are eleven people on one team. Duration of the game is 90 minutes. On the game cooperation team is very need. This game is led by one referee and two assistant referees.
In Europe, football can be a business. There, wage of player can to reach by the billions. There also good player football people. From manner dribble, shoot, and passing.

Tenis Meja

Tenis meja adalah salah satu permainan olah raga terkenal di Indonesia. Itu adalah permainan bola. Permainan ini dimainkan oleh dua orang atau empat orang. Permainan ini dimainkan di atas meja. Di tengah meja, ada sebuah net setinggi lima belas cm. Bola harus di pukul lebih dari net. Pemain memenangkan 1 poin jika bola tidak dikembalikan. Pemenangnya adalah pemain pertama yang mencapai dua puluh satu poin.

Permainan ini juga disebt ping pong. Ini populer di Indonesia. Ping pong adalah permainan yang menyenangkan buat saya.

Table tennis is one of the famous sport games in Indonesian. This is the ball game. This game is played by two or four people. This game is played on the table. In the center of table, there is net 15 cm high. The ball must be hit over the net. Players win a point if the ball is not returned. The winner is the first player to reach 21 point.

This game is also called “Ping Pong”. It is popular in Indonesian. Table tennis is the pleasant game for me.

Hot lady

It is one of the beautiful plants in Indonesia. It is Aglaonema's family. It is made of Greg Hambali, called “the Father of Aglaonema”.

Hot lady has beautiful leaves. It has three colors ; yellow, red, and green. It has short stem.

It is one of the expensive plants in Indonesian and Thailand. The price of Hot lady is RP. 5000.000,00 / leave. It is very expensive for me. People like them because Hot lady is the beautiful and expensive plant. The performance of Hot lady makes people be amazement.

my city

My city is Yogyakarta. It is one of the beautiful city in Indonesia. It is located in south of Java. There are so many tourist resorts and many cultures. The tourist resorts in Yogyakarta are Parang Tritis beach, Sultan's palace, Prambanan temple, Ratu Boko temple, Baron beach, and so on.

Yogyakarta has many cultures. One of cultures in yogyakarta is puppet leather. It is a old culture in Yogyakarta. It is played by “Dalang” on the show. The show of puppet leather is very nice. I love my city.

Sultan’s Palace

One of the most interesting places to visit in Yogyakarta is sultan’s palace. It is located in the center of city, called Kraton. Sultan’s palace about 200 meters from Malioboro’s street, and it’s easy to get there by car or by motorcycle.

It’s one of beautiful places in Yogyakarta. It has more the old and beautiful building. It’s “ Kemagangan’s hall ”, “ Pagelaran’s hall ”, “ Trajumas’s hall “, “ Kemandungan’s hall “, “ Sasono Inggil’s hall ”, etc. Sultan’s palace is used the king and queen of Yogyakarta to live.

Sultan’s palace takes about 2 hours to see all the building. We can walk around Sultan’s palace. The best time to visit Sultan’s palace is in the morning.

Music For me

Music is the beautiful something. It makes me happy. I love music. Music is my best friend. When l sad, music always with me. Music gives me the inspiration to life. Every day, my friend and l always learn the music. It is a nice moment.

Every Monday, my friend and l always play the music in the studio. I’m a vocalist there. I like be a vocalist.
